World Book Day 2025, by Mr Ayriss-Townsend

Date: 14th Mar 2025 @ 1:38pm

The children had a fantastic time celebrating world book day on the 6th March 2025.

The children arrived in their cosy clothes for a day of reading activities, quizzes and competitions.

We held a Mystery Reader Storytime, where the children listened to a mixed-up fairy tale, read by a selection of staff from around the school. They were tasked with identifying each adult based on their voice alone!
The children had some time to think about their favourite story and designed the front cover, for a chance to win some World Book Day prizes.

At home, children were tasked with recreating a character or a scene from their favourite book, using a paper plate. We saw so many fantastic entries and creative ways to represent the children’s favourite stories. The school council are going to have a very difficult job deciding on the winners.
We ended the day, by giving each child a World Book Day book token, which they can use at our school book fair between 10th and 14th March.
Well done to all of the children for their fantastic efforts throughout the day!

Revisiting our vision as a school community, by Mr Elswood

Date: 29th Nov 2023 @ 2:00pm

Our staff team has grown over the last year and we have spent time reflecting and revisiting our vision and values as an organisation over the last few months.

Our ethos is captured perfectly by 1 Corinthians 16:14 – “Let all that you do be done in love.”

It has been great to welcome new team members to the schools and collectively affirm that we remain committed in all that we do to the health, well being and spiritual development of our children.
