Homework

Your child will be given a Maths problem to complete fortnightly.  In addition to this children will also be given a termly project to complete.  The guidance for this will be given at the start of each new term.  Additional tasks can be accessed at home through Seesaw.  Your child will have their reading book changed frequently. Each child has been allocated a reading day however, please ensure they bring their reading records in daily.  Please encourage them to read daily at home.

Spellings will be given out every Monday. Please ensure your child practices these for their spelling test that Friday.

It's Good to be Green

The ‘Good to be Green scheme is an effective way of promoting positive behaviour, rewarding those pupils who consistently behave appropriately, and is a means of being able to track those pupils who find it harder to meet the school’s expected behaviour.

The scheme is very visual, with child friendly resources which allow our pupils to easily see how they are doing in class. We believe that it is important to promote a positive message regarding behaviour management at all times- ‘Good to be Green’ is a means of promoting our high expectations of positive behaviour. If a child has not had a good day, they can start afresh the following day
