In 2011 Mr Elswood moved to a four form entry school (880 children on roll) on the Wirral which was based across two separate sites.
Mr Elswood was appointed as Executive Headteacher for the St John Chrysostom Federation in October 2016 for the two schools. The two schools have more than 120 employees and a senior team of eight who ensure that outcomes for children remain at the heart of decision making.
He remains passionate about children’s literature and engendering a love of reading and learning. The importance of the Arts within the curriculum is part of his vision to provide a broad and purposeful learning for all children in a school environment that promotes respect and tolerance.
